Law 25 — agent role
For your employees' learning data, MAK-IA acts as an agent (mandataire) within the meaning of Quebec's Law 25.

No. Your space is private: your courses do not appear in MAK-IA's public catalog and no other client can access them. Only the employees you invite see them.
Yes. The content you upload or create remains the property of your company, with no exclusivity. You can export it and end your subscription.
You add storage in 25 GB blocks at $10 per month, without changing tier. You are warned before reaching the ceiling.
No. You stay on the Micro tier and pay $4 per month for the extra user: $848 per year instead of $1,200. It stays worthwhile until the extra users add up to the price of the next tier.
Yes. SCORM import is included in every tier, as is uploading videos and documents. Your existing procedures become lessons.
The manager or managers you designate in your company. For that data, MAK-IA acts as an agent within the meaning of Law 25 and does not use it for other purposes.
The account is active as soon as payment is made. A procedure you already have in writing can become a published course the same day: you upload the document, the assistant structures it, you correct and you publish.
This option is coming soon, with a preferential rate for clients already subscribed to the internal offer. It is not included in the current tiers.
What you accept when you subscribe.
There is no contract to sign. So here, in plain words and before payment, are the commitments that apply to your company.
Client company commitments
- 01 You warrant that you hold the rights to all content you upload or have produced in your space.
- 02 You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of that content, including your mandatory training.
- 03 MAK-IA does not review or validate your content. You publish without approval, and without endorsement on our part.
- 04 The storage ceiling of your tier applies. Beyond it, you add storage at $10 per month per 25 GB.
- 05 You manage your employees' access: who is invited, who is removed, and which courses each one sees.
