Train your teams. In French. No subscription.
MAK-IA is a Quebec online training platform powered by AI. You buy the courses your employees need, when they need them. You pay once. They keep their access.
info@mak-ia.com · 5 to 200 seats per order
At their own pace
Each employee follows the course when their schedule allows. No classroom date to coordinate.
In French
Content designed in Quebec, in French, for teams that work in French.
No mandatory subscription
You buy the courses you need. Nothing to renew every year.
The discount grows with you.
Your first order is paid at full price. As soon as it takes your running total past $1,000, everything you buy afterwards is 25% off. Cross $2,500 and you move to 35%. The discount grows with you, as long as your volume over the previous twelve months keeps it there.
The rate is set by the cumulative purchase volume, before taxes, over the twelve months preceding the transaction. The current order does not count towards unlocking its own discount: it feeds the total that sets the rate of the next one.
The staircase — before taxes, last 12 months
Total of $0
Your first purchases, at the listed price.
Total of $1,000 and up
Subsequent purchases move to 25% off.
Total of $2,500 and up
Subsequent purchases move to 35% off.
Total of $5,000 and up
Maximum rate: 45% off from then on.
Billed in Canadian dollars, GST and QST extra. The applicable rate is the one of your total at the time of the order.
A twelve-month example
The first order is paid at full price. It is the one that opens the tier applied to the next ones.
How the discount behaves
- Calculated on the cumulative volume, before taxes, of the twelve months preceding the transaction.
- An order does not open its own discount: it sets the rate of the next one.
- The tier reached holds as long as the total of the last twelve months stays above the threshold.
- Minimum of 5 seats per order, no term commitment.
- Billed in Canadian dollars, GST and QST itemized.
Access does not disappear.
A purchased course stays accessible with no time limit. Your employees come back six months later to review a procedure. Nothing expires on a contract renewal date.
Per-course purchase — MAK-IA
- Access to the purchased course with no time limit.
- Seats bought now, assigned as you hire.
- Named certificates stay in your files.
- You only pay for what your teams actually take.
Subscription platforms
- Access ends when the contract does.
- You pay for unused seats.
- The catalogue can withdraw a course midway.
- Renewal is negotiated every year.
The course belongs to the learner.
A course assigned to an employee belongs to them. It can neither be revoked nor transferred to a colleague. It is the counterpart of unlimited access: the same principle, seen from the buyer's side.
"If the employee leaves, the course leaves with them." Yes.
What stays with you
The named certificate remains a document in the employer's file: proof that the training was given, on the date it was given.
The real comparison
With classroom training, you pay for a full day that also leaves with the employee, without leaving any reusable content behind.
Buy now, assign later.
You buy seats today and assign them as you hire. Nothing forces you to know your headcount in advance.
And the purchase counts right away: it moves your total forward, so it unlocks the next tier. The seats, for their part, wait to be assigned.

Mock-up of the manager interface — fictional data
Your employees keep their privacy.
An employee learns better knowing their hesitations do not reach their manager. You follow the results; the rest belongs to them. That is what makes teams accept training.
Visible to the manager
- Progress per employee and per lesson
- Quiz scores and quizzes to watch
- Last activity and progress towards the target date
- CSV export and report by email
Never visible
- Personal notes taken during lessons
- Conversations with the AI assistant
- The entry questionnaire
- Details of abandoned attempts
