Publication conditions
Before submitting a course for approval, every instructor attests that it meets the conditions below. The attestation is recorded with the publication.
Deliverables
- The instructor's contract has been accepted and signed
- Video capsules (2 to 3 h), in reproducible lab format
- PowerPoint covering the whole training, step-by-step exercises
- Exercise documents following the template
- Exercise files: starter file + separate solution file, referenced in the videos
Technical
- High-quality voice (human or AI): pronunciation checked everywhere, fluid pace
- 2 to 3 seconds of silence at the start of each capsule
- Voice and on-screen actions synchronized
- Controlled mouse movements, Camtasia animations used
- Pace that leaves time to analyze
- Uniform video format before and after full screen
Pedagogy
- Every concept is named before being applied
- Every prompt is visible on screen
- The why behind each formulation is explained
- All non-obvious terms are defined
Consistency and polish
- Consistent terminology (one choice per notion)
- Volatile elements depersonalized or up to date
- Slides proofread: formatting and spelling
- Instructor presentation slide and capsule included
